My uncles have the best stories, and they make it fun and entertaining when they tell them. We gather around the fire, and we begin story telling. When it gets late, we sometimes like to go to the store and get snacks and then bring the back to share with the family. It is beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful to be here. This spot is special to me because of the meaning it has for me and my family. We like to go down to the little beach area and let the kids play in the sand and enjoy the beach. We roast marshmallows and make smores at night. We cook hot dogs and burgers, and we gather around the fire as it gets late. When me and my family come to this beach, we usually spend many hours there and we visit my cousin who camps out there with her family. This is also an area often rich in agates – but it's well known for this, so it's likely the place could be well picked over by the time you get there. During the winter, when sand levels get quite low, you see even more of them and more of the bedrock beneath. During the summer they disappear almost entirely. Those slabs come and go a bit depending on sand levels. They seem to continue on for miles, but they actually do stop less than a half mile down the beach, and a bit further down you start to run into Seal Rock and its varied scenery. Periodically, the strange slab structures stop, then suddenly start up again.
